![]() It would have worked, but it just wasn't in the firmware. The only reason they didn't support playback is because they would have had to pay royalty fees (and Blu-ray is owned by Sony), which would have increased the price. The Wii and Wii U even used DVD and Blu-ray discs for the games (respectively). The Switch is the only system that can be charged via USB. Both the Wii U and Switch Pro controllers charge through mini USB ports, which Microsoft hasn't supported until the Xbox One. For example, the PS Vita used proprietary memory cards which were far more expensive, while the 3DS, Switch, Wii, and Wii U have all used inexpensive SD (or micro SD) cards. ![]() I would argue that Nintendo is less proprietary-prone than other gaming systems now. 1/23/2024 0 Comments Everyone who has cinema 4d has a![]() With C4D’s new Voronoi Fracturing, you can now easily break your model into small pieces. In those cases, you want to take those slick and precise models and break them up into tiny little random pieces. However, there are times that you want to destroy and shatter the things you make. Of course, 3D programs are great at modeling things and making them look clean and perfect -whether you are constructing furniture, buildings or starships. Next to object tracking, Voronoi Fracturing comes in a close second in terms of R18’s new features. This saves users money and time from having to rely on third-party tracking software. Along with the already-existing motion tracking, the addition of object tracking makes the application a complete tracking and match-moving solution. ![]() The implementation of object tracking inside Cinema 4D is a great enhancement to the product. ![]() In the case of object tracking something in footage that was shot with a moving camera, it’s a little more involved since one would need to solve for both the camera and the object. If you are working with footage that was shot with a locked-off camera, the object tracking process is more or less straightforward. All you need are some well-defined tracking markers affixed to the surface of those objects for the object tracker to work. Those movements are not based on the camera motion but rather on the movement of individual objects. Or you wanted to add a flower to a lady’s hat as she rotates her head. For example, suppose a flatbed truck was turning around a corner in the original shot and you wanted to add a missile launcher on top of it. While similar to motion tracking, object tracking is different in that, instead of tracking the camera, it allows you to track individual elements in the live-action footage. With the right lighting and a few shadows, it will be hard to tell the difference between what was in the original shot and what you added later. This allows you to do things like add set extensions or other 3D elements, such as telephone poles or dragons, to the live-action shot and have them align seamlessly with the original scene. Motion tracking, or match-moving as it is sometimes called, allows you to process live-action footage shot with a moving or hand-held camera and solve for that camera resulting in a “virtual” 3D camera that behaves exactly as the original camera did in the shot. Motion tracking, which is a closely related feature to object tracking, was introduced two years ago in R16 and seriously upped C4D’s capabilities as a serious visual effects tool (in addition to the motion graphics and animation powerhouse that it already was). Let’s begin with the new Object Tracker in Cinema 4D R18. Object Tracking Cinema 4D R18’s new Object Tracker lets you affix 3D models to moving objects in your footage. And with it comes a host of new features and enhancements that makes 3D artists and animators stand up and take note. White pitchers and Greenery for a Cozy Winter Home: Across the room, I continued with the neutrals and natural elements on my console table. Here are some more ideas for transitioning from Christmas to winter. Decorating with neutrals can be a great way to transition from Christmas to winter decor. Natural elements like wood help to visually warm up the space during the colder months. Since snowflakes are appropriate for a winter theme, I left one up on the ledge along with the wooden candlesticks. Just by removing the ribbon and some greenery (and the wreaths on the cabinets), I gave the spot a fresh new look for winter. On my stove mantel, I had wrapped some red ribbon around the candles for my Christmas home tour. Rather than start from scratch, in some areas I simply removed the red items. However, regardless of whether or not the drone does indeed come with its own controller, most drones still rely on your smartphone to reduce the load on the controller in terms of computer power for its various functions. Most drones, right out of the box, usually have their own dedicated controllers unless you choose a cheaper drone model that relies on a smartphone instead of a separate controller. This only makes it more appealing for you to learn how to fly a drone with your phone or tablet if the occasion arises. Drones are now designed to work when they are controlled by smartphones, and that is a good thing considering that you don’t always have the room to carry a drone controller with you. Your drone might come with its own controller but that doesn’t mean that you can’t control it with your smartphone. Go back to the mobile app and follow the setup and calibration to configure your drone and prepare it for flight. From there, go to your phone’s settings and then connect its Wi-Fi to your drone via the drone’s own Wi-Fi network. So, how do you fly your drone using your phone or tablet instead of the controller that it comes with?ĭownload your drone’s dedicated mobile app on your phone or tablet. Other wireless networks: Imagine that your wireless router is a teenager who loudly and perhaps slightly obnoxiously talks with another teenager, the WiFi module in your laptop or smartphone. While some obstacles can be easily avoided with some planning and preparation, other obstacles are immovable. Physical obstacles: Physical obstacles such as walls and furniture are the enemies of a strong WiFi signal. Some routers even support multiple antennas, which can sometimes be independently positioned for optimal coverage or removed and replaced with stronger antennas. Wireless routers with an internal antenna tend to have a weak signal compared to routers with an external antenna. The farther away you are from a wireless router, the weaker the signal becomes. Distance: The most obvious influencer of WiFi strength is distance. You may also find out that the expensive router you’ve purchased, expecting it to perform far better than your previous router, is actually not much better.īefore you measure your WiFi signal strength using a WiFi signal strength app, you should understand what influences WiFi signal strength so you know how to interpret the data generated by the app. Instead of spending a lot of money on a high-end wireless router, you may find out that you just need to move your existing router elsewhere to fix all your connectivity issues. Playing with inertial dampening off brings a whole other layer to flying and make it feel a lot less arcadey, but has a very high skill floor and cieling, so only really for people who like to master that kind of flight - if you're familiar with Elite Dangerous you've probably dabbled with turning inertial dampening off in that game and seeing what it's all about. The ability to rebind everything is about the most functional gamepad rebinding I've seen in a game - each action can have multiple binds, be set to function on button hold, or function on holding one button and pushing another.īy default the game has a few functions which aren't bound by default on controller or keyboard afaik - they're not critical, but might interest you - namely placing markers, toggling your ships headlights, and disabling (and reenabling) inertial dampening (this is what keeps your ship from continuing in a direction you thrust after you stop thrusting). Hola - I mainly play using controller - the default controller layout is adequate, it might take at most an hour of play to get totally used to it and be able to fluidly execute what you intend - biggest gripes with default scheme are boost being assigned to LS click and working on hold (functions much better if you just switch it to toggle, and assign it to Y button press if you don't like clicking analogues), and lock on and rotation of the ship being assigned to rs click (same thing, just rebind if clicking bothers you - rolling isn't too important a function in moment to moment gameplay, and game by default has auto roll function to level ship to a neutral horizon.) 1/22/2024 0 Comments Downie 4 for ios instal free![]() The Arm64 GA for Visual Studio also bundles Arm64 versions of CMake and Ninja.
